Eildon Dam Wall Lookout

Easy access viewpoint overlooking the dam wall and lake. Parking available.

Foggs Lookout (Mount Pinniger)

Spectacular panoramic views over the dam wall and Lake Eildon. Located on Mount Pinniger Road, 6km from Eildon via Jerusalem Creek Road.

The Paps

Twin peaks at 707m offering 360-degree views of Lake Eildon and the High Country. 15min drive from Mansfield on Maroondah Highway, then moderate 3.5km hike.

East's Lookout

Located above the northern end of the dam wall via Sugarloaf Drive near Eildon boat harbour. Excellent high vantage point.

Merlo Lookout

Overlooks the turquoise waters of Wallaby Bay in Lake Eildon National Park. Named after the Merlo family who farmed the land before it was submerged in 1956. At low water levels, you can see the tip of their old homestead.

Blowhard Summit

Spectacular 360-degree views from the highest point on the Blowhard Circuit. Views extend over Lake Eildon to Mount Buller. Accessed via moderate-to-hard 22km circuit from Wallaby Bay carpark.

Skyline Road Lookout

Scenic viewpoint along Skyline Road offering panoramic views of Lake Eildon and surrounding mountains. Easy vehicle access.

Murchison Gap Lookout

Wooden viewing platform overlooking the 'Valley of a Thousand Hills'. Named after John Murchison, an original squatter in the district. Excellent sunrise spot. Located on Murchison Spur Road, Strath Creek.
