Camping Tips

1

Book Ahead in Peak Season

Popular campgrounds fill up quickly during summer holidays, Easter, and long weekends. Book through Parks Victoria for national park campgrounds.

2

Bring Your Own Firewood

Collection of firewood in national parks is prohibited. Bring your own or purchase from local suppliers before arriving.

3

Leave No Trace

Take all rubbish with you, stay on designated sites, and leave the campground as you found it for others to enjoy.

4

Be Wildlife Aware

Store food securely to avoid attracting wildlife. Snakes are present in warmer months - be cautious around logs and long grass.

Book Your Campsite

Book national park campgrounds through Parks Victoria or find private caravan parks in our local directory.
